How to Draw a Pineapple

There are many fun ways to color in a pineapple, but for this tutorial, we will be using a traditional yellow pineapple. If yellow pineapples aren't your thing, feel free to color your pineapple any colors you wish to. The more creative you get, the happier you will be!

To follow along with the tutorial, use the blue lines are your reference. Blue lines will indicate the step you are on. For example, brown lines mean that you should have already drawn that part of the pineapple. The blue lines are what you are to begin working on.

Easy Pineapple Drawing Step-by-Step Tutorial

It's time to get started on our pineapples! You will go from creating a basic outline drawing to a fully detailed colored drawing. Follow the steps below to make your own easy pineapple cartoon drawing. Enjoy!

Step 1: Draw the Main Body of Your Pineapple

First, you will draw the main part of your pineapple fruit.

Step 2: Draw Some Angled Lines

You will now begin drawing in the details of your pineapple body.

Step 3: Draw Another Set of Angled Lines

Draw another set of lines perpendicular to the first set you just drew.

Step 4: Draw the Leaves of Your Pineapple

Create the base layer of pineapple leaves. This is also known as the crown of your pineapple.

Step 5: Add Some More Leaves on Top

Draw another set of pineapple leaves on top of the base layer.

Step 6: Add a Third Set of Leaves

Draw a third set of pineapple leaves on top of the second.

Step 7: Draw the Last Set of Leaves

Add in your last layer of leaves.

Step 8: You Are Finished!
